If you want to advocate for school policies that support sexual harassment or assault survivors, you’ve found the right place! Usually, these initiatives focus on education about sexual harassment through academic institutions, grassroots lobbying techniques, or sexual education awareness. In recent years, we have focused heavily on Title IX office reform.
As part of our initiative program, you will learn grassroots lobbying skills, writing skills, public speaking skills, and advocacy skills. We will provide hands-on training and strategy assistance to guide you through the process of changemaking. By applying, you agree to attend weekly required meetings (one hour per week), in addition to some outside work (can span 2-3 hours of work per week), and regular communication with your mentors.
This program is recommended for high school AND college students.
