Our Fight

Here at the Ruth Project, we pursue tangible change by training our members to not only raise awareness—but to tackle issues of gender inequity head-on, with strategy, determination, and passion. We work to empower our members with self-advocacy, teach students how to reform discriminatory school policies, and increase sexual harassment education via policy change.

Our voices have so much power

Let’s use our voices to speak up—not only for the overarching issues of gender inequity, but also for each other. Use the following link to see our advice for dress code reform in your schools.

Our Namesake:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The Ruth Project is humbly named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg (“RBG”). We are following in her footsteps in our fight against gender inequity, channeling our passion and determination inspired by Justice Ginsburg.

Join the Fight

We have initiatives across the United States, and beyond, including Canada and Europe.

Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.”

– Ruth Bader Ginsburg

“We don’t have to wait to change the world. We can do it right now. Let us raise our voices and take that step towards the world we believe is possible. Let us march hand-in-hand towards equity, together in solidarity.”

– Founder and Executive Director, Julia Squitteri
